Audra
Bio
Audra is a Portland-based photographer and Maine native.
Her earliest inspiration was watching her grandmother paint watercolor landscapes of Maine and New England. In addition to being an inspiration for art, early painting sessions fueled a basic curiosity for exploring the coast of Maine. This curiosity has also cultivated opportunities to photograph much of the East Coast of the United States and parts of Western Jamaica.
Audra has a strong interest in nature photography, photojournalism, portraiture, and wedding photography. She has taken headshots and publicity photos for local musicians, actors, and events. Her work has been used by the Gorham Art Fair in Gorham, Maine; Maine Medical Center; and the Portland Phoenix.
In addition to being a photographer, Audra is also an avid musician. She has performed throughout New England in both classical and musical theater settings. She is active as a member of local community theater orchestras and as co-principal flute in the Southern Maine Symphony Orchestra.
